Dezső Bozóky hand-coloured glass diapositive. Photograph taken by Dezső Bozóky. At low tide, when the sea receded far from the city, boats were moored at a long wooden pier. At the end of the pier, locals are getting in their boats. On the right, a boat laden with identical packages of what is probably seaweed, secured with rope, is waiting for the high tide. At the time of Bozóky’s visit, rocks were already transported to the port, to make the city stand closer to the sea.
