In 2023, Hopp Museum celebrated a centenary again, as our first permanent exhibition was opened in 1923. It presented the Chinese, Indian and Japanese collections in a regional and chronological order, with around 1,000 objects on display. The lecture explores our relationship with mountains from the perspectives of geography, culture and religion, while also presents the history and different branches of mountaineering, and gives an insight into the challenges of an 8,000-meter expedition. More ❯❯❯
