Seated on a lotus throne set in a vase, the six-armed deity Aizen Myō-ō (愛染明王) is one of the “Wisdom Kings of Passion” (Japanese: Myō-ō). The deity’s upper body is naked, while his lower body is covered with patterned silk featuring dharma wheels and lotus designs. The deity’s upper body and head are red, and his hair is combed upwards. He is wearing an animal-head diadem.
