The scroll contains an image of Bishamonten (毘沙門天). He is shown in his typical military costume, with greaves, a breastplate and
helmet. In his right hand, he holds a sceptre topped with the wish-fulfilling jewel, while in his left hand, he holds his principal attribute,
a stupa, symbolising the teachings of the Buddha.
