One of the wide-spread iconographic versions of the bodhisattva Guanyin is a graceful female figure sitting on a lotus throne with legs crossed. She holds a pearl in her hand resting in her lap; her right hand is in the gesture of argumentation. Above her forehead, The Buddha Amitabha is depicted. The figure is decorated with a beaded net.
