A moulded bronze brooch with a stepped bulge to the central part of the bow and a raised foot over the catch plate. Its flattened head features some incised decoration. Its needle is missing.
This type was extremely popular in Roman provinces, particularly in the Rhine and Danube regions. Principally these were parts of the Roman military costume, but in the Barbaricum women also wore them in pairs.
