Four children on a raft, photographed from high above, probably from the deck of the cruiser. The houses of a village are discernible on the shore. “Particularly interesting were these rafts, which were devised from three or four logs, and had a half-metre tall rail at one end, to the middle of which the single oar was attached, which they operate like the oar on the stern of a sampan, moving it like a fish moves its tail” (Bozóky 1911, I. 522).
