The album containing Dezső Bozóky's travelphotos (second). Related item: A.4760.2. (album). Photograph taken by Dezső Bozóky. Related item: F.2004.686. (photo). A young woman on the rocky beach, coming out of the water naked. A boy stands facing her. More bathers can be seen further off, as well as the houses built along the shore. “... dropped their kimonos in the blink of an eye, and went on to walk into the refreshing water like so many mythological Venuses. No one was shocked by their nakedness, not even the white-gloved Japanese policeman
who walked on the beach...” (Bozóky 1911, I. 531).
