Wave-shaped blade, made of steel and meteoric iron. The carved hilt of the kris (Indonesian: keris) in question depicts a human figure with a slightly protruding head, a subtle hint that the object may have been the property of a person of high rank. The base of the hilt is gripped by a silver strap, and the case is made of wood and copper.
