This item entered the Hopp Museum as part of the collection of Ferenc Hopp, but the written data on the label situated on the verso indicate that it had been previously collected by János Xántus during the East Asian Expedition of 1869. Maki-e and shibayama technique. Inscription: Label on verso writes "X" and numbers.
