Amitabha, the Buddha of the Infinite Light is illustrated in accordance with icongraphical rulse. ÍHe wears a dhoti with flower pattarned border. Round symbolsdecorated his soles. His hands are in a meditative position with an alms bowl an his palms. Hi body lacks ornamentation. He seats on a double lotus throne in vajra position. Fan mitifs can be seen among its lotus petals, and inciesed pattern, pearl rosary under the petals. Its ornamentation forms a circle. Based on the characteristics, escepially the representetion of the bady and the lotus throne this statuette was identified as a work of the Urga School.
