North Indian battle-axe: bhuj-kutti. At the junction of the blade, the hilt forms an elephant's head, on which a small lion stands. This type of battle-axe is always attached to the blade with an elephant head. On the handle of the axe stands a small cavalryman holding a long spear. Origin: Sindh, Gujarat.
