The Mongolian belt set (Halha: xet xutga) consists of a knife, knife sheath, chopsticks, and a hand-forged fire starter set, which are attached to each other with a chain or ribbon, or hung on the belt.
This belt ornament consists of two irregularly shaped, hinged silver fittings, to which a purple silk cord is strung on one side, with pearls and fringe at the end, and a thick double leather strap is attached to the other side. The fittings are decorated with an engraved tendril pattern.
