Fragment of an elephant from a bas-relief. The elephant's trunk and front leg were broken off. Column pattern carved to the right of the elephant, with a human figure in the middle.
The hand on the forehead of the elephant is Buddha's head. The relief depicts one event of the eight miracles of the Buddha's life: the taming of the bewildered Nalagiri elephant.
