Sanskrit: Maravijaya Buddha. The sculpture depicts the Buddha with his right hand in the characteristic Earth touching hand gesture (Skt. bhumisparsa-mudra), his head with tongues of flame blazing upwards, his eyebrows reaching the bridge of his nose creating a double arch, and his earlobes extended.
