A palm leaf book of 19 pages written in Khmer script. The text of the manuscript goes back to the Pali canon (Tipiṭaka), the earliest unified collection of texts of Theravada Buddhism, popular in mainland Southeast Asia. Its leaves, pierced in two places, are held together by a cord, and the edges of the leaves are gilded.
