An elderly gentleman, in the traditional wear of Korean men: a light summer coat, pants tied at the ankle, and a short shirt. He wears a horsehair hat and spectacles, and carries a European umbrella. He is followed, half hidden by him, by a porter. Further back, Japanese men can be seen, and a porter bending under the weight of his curiously shaped load.
