Dezső Bozóky hand-coloured glass diapositive. From Dezső Bozóky's Photographic Collection: Constantinople (İstanbul). It was commissioned by Sultan Suleiman I as a memorial to his son, Mehmed, who died young. It was designed by Mimar (Architect) Sinan, one of the pre-eminent architects of the sixteenth century.
