From Dezső Bozóky's Photographic Collection: Constantinople (İstanbul), Kasımpaşa quarter.The first bridge, a wooden structure that connected Unkapani and Azapkapu, was built in 1836. It was replaced by the French metal bridge visible in the picture, which was inaugurated in 1875.
