Rectangular-shaped covered flask. Its shape derives from that of European metal vessels; such vessels were typical goods produced for export in the 17th century. Flasks of this type served as ornamental vessels placed on wall consols in porcelain cabinets, a fashionable of part of interieurs of aristocrats’ houses.
