An outstanding piece of the Gandharan collection. A mask-like face depicted from a frontal view. A high-quality, balanced, presumably female head with characteristic full cheeks. The top of the head is decorated with a diadem, above which the final headdress is no longer visible.Traces of red paint remained on the pupils of the eyes and on the lips.
