Gold strap end. Objects like this(these) were extraordinarily popular in the Hun period, especially among Gernanic tribes. The roots of this distinctive style date back to the second or third century, originated from the Pontus and Caucasus regions, and as the Huns migrated west, they beought the style with them throughout Europe and North Africa.
