Han Gan is a Chinese painter of horses and grooms. He immortalised the horses of the imperial stable during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong (712–756). The follower of Han Gan, active in the Ming period, represents a black bearded man with sword and arrow, a jug of wine on the back, and a package.
