Female figure in Burmese dress standing in the centre of a greenish-brown frame with floral pattern. In her raised right hand she holds an oblong object, presumably a Burmese cheroot. The tapestry (kalaga) is made using the appliqué technique. These large textiles were generally used for partitioning or as wall decorations.
