Wayang golek purwa puppet from Ernő Zboray's collection. Hanoman/Anoman (etc) the monkey-general is of divine origin, one of the main protagonists of the Ramayana epic poem, and supporter of prince Rama. The rod puppet was repainted at the end of the 20's.
