Also known as Anoman. Anoman is a monkey warrior, one of the main characters in the epic poem of Ramayana, and the most important helpers and friends of King Rama. Wayang golek purwa puppet.
The originally white-coloured puppet has obviously been altered and repainted during use. This is indicated by the remnants of a white monkey tail still visible today attached to the crown of the hair.
