Khalkha mongol tunic for child

Dark green tunic for child (halha: dēl, (дээл) is made from dark green, patterned woven silk. In the middle of each circular pattern is a simplified shou ideogram, surrounded by stylised plant motifs. The standing collar, the closure and the bottom of the downward widening robe, as well as the sleeves are decorated with a triple border made of yellow silk fabric. The button tabs and knitted buttons for the closure under the right armpit are made of light green silk fabric. According to the donator, it was made for a 2-3 year old boy.
