The album containing Dezső Bozóky's travelphotos (second). Related item: A.4760.2. (album). Unknown photographer. Photograph purchased by Dezső Bozóky. “At low tide, the sea recedes far from the city, and vast dry areas, high hills, emerge where a mere few hours before large sailing boats and steamers sat haughtily atop the sea” (Bozóky 1911, I. 482). At low tide, people walk in the area left dry, sailing boats wait for the tide to return. On the shore in the distance, the houses of the Japanese district can be seen, as well as the buildings that served as Russian granaries until 1905, the end of the Russo-Japanese War.
