The album containing Dezső Bozóky's travelphotos (second). Related item: A.4760.2. (album). Unknown photographer. Photograph purchased by Dezső Bozóky. Thanks to the mirror, this photo can show both the face and the hairdo of the lady. Flowers were painted on the backdrop that imitates a stately home’s interior, to cover up a part that had been burnt. “As a matter of fact, these girls are the most intelligent among Korean women, the most educated, who can not only read and write, sing and play music, but can engage in polished conversation, and
are virtually the most beautiful women in Korea” (Bozóky 1911, I. 518). Other publication: Bozóky Dezső: Két év Keletázsiában. Útirajzok. I-II. kötet. China és Korea, Japán. (동아시아에서의 2년. 여행기 I.-II. 권, 중국과 한국, 일본) Nagyvárad, the author's edition, 1911.
