Yang Ting, beside being a literary man, was a painter of cliffs. His painting depicts a landscape of early spring with steep mountainsides on each side. Upwards on the left, there is a multi-storey wooden building. A bridge spans the river on the right. Two colophons are on the painting. The middle one is written by Chen Danzhong, the left one is made by Zhou Huang.
