This matchlock gun features a gilt sight and a plain round barrel, the latter displaying some simple gilt decoration at the muzzle and the breech only. An iron panel, framed by a giltedge, is located at the breech,immediately behind the sight, displaying a partially unintelligible, stamped signature in Persian "Amal-e Hoseyn. The rifle was made for the domestic market or for export to India.
