This teadrop- shaped bronze jug has a curving handle and is attached to oil-lamp-shaped spout. On the neck of the jug is a decorative band featuring a pseudo-Arabic pattern, while on the side are geometric forms contained within medallions.The object is slightly dmaged, but is nevertheless an outstanding example of Iranian metalwork from the period. This jug was probably unearthed near the caravanserai known as Ribat-i-Sharaf in Khorasan.
