Nguyen Phan Chanh works in the silk painting workshop, sitting in front of a canvas stretched on a picture frame, wearing glasses and a long beard. Photographer Miklós Rév took photos in 1959 in North Vietnam, in the then Democratic Republic of Vietnam. They reported on their trip with journalist Imre Patkó in their book "Vietnam", published in 1960. (see inv. no. F. 2025.39.56.)
