Nguyen Phan Chanh works in the silk painter's workshop, he can be seen painting in glasses, with a long beard, and his brush. Photographer Miklós Rév took photos in 1959 in North Vietnam, in the then Democratic Republic of Vietnam. They reported on their trip with journalist Imre Patkó in their book "Vietnam", published in 1960. (see Inv. No. F. 2025.39.55.)
