Cosmographic diagram. In the center, the mythical Mount Meru is represented, around it is the earth, or Jambu-dvipa, the isolated continent with 7 concentric circles. These are symbolic representations of the cosmic fields, the spheres and the zones of the atmosphere. The innermost circle is bordered by the cosmic sphere, separating the visible world from the invisible. Beyond this lies the space that does not belong to the universe (aloka). The picture comes from Rajasthan.
