Scroll painting, with Chinese characters in the upper left corner. The elongated painting shows birds perched on a pomegranate tree covered with fruit and leaves. From below, a larger bird, adorned with special colours and feathers, is eager to watch as the simple birds feast on pomegranate seeds.
