Wooden printing block with carvings on both sides. On one side, at mid-height, there is an inscription in Chinese characters. On the other side, from a lotus pedestal standing on a tripod emerges a frame decorated with dragons, beast heads and floral motifs. The empty field in the frame is presumably where the title of the book is to be written.
