Processional flag

In the midle of this triangular flag a lion- and sun motif can be seen, surrounded by a pattern of plant and birds. The border features an alternating sequence of 15 round medallions and 14 cartouches. The medallions contain the inscription "Oh imam Husayn" while the cartoushes featureexcerpts from a poem known as "Davazdah-band" This object was a processional flag used during the morning of Muharram
