When suffered exile, his wife Sinta was kidnapped by the demon king Rawana, so he set out with his brother Lesmana and an army of monkeys and bears to rescue her. Wayang golek purwa puppet from Ernő Zboray's collection. The rod puppet was repainted at the end of the 1920s.
