A reddish ground with whitish and dark blue colours, the a 'head' of the piece (kepala) with a characteristic mutually facing tumpal motif (triangle, bamboo shoot, etc.), while the large field called the "body" of the sarung was decorated with mixed local and European patterns (centipede?, flower, and two-legged lion).
