Of the sword once collected by Ferenc Hopp only the sheath is now part of our collection. However, its bent shape and other characteristics suggest that it was part of a type of weapon known as the 'Langgai tinggal', which was made and used by the Iban (or Sea Dayak) people, a warrior and head-hunting tribe of indigenous people in Borneo.
