Temple cloth (ider-ider) with scenes from the Hindu Ramayana. Made on the island of Bali, presumably in the village of Kamasan, the object follows the style of Javanese wayang depictions of the vulture Jatayus trying to protect Sita (Indonesian: Sinta), who has been taken by the demon king Rawana by trickery. The successive scenes are separated by richly detailed trees. Handwritten, with incorrect character markings.
