Alabaster carving of Buddha in royal attire (Jambupati type), with the right hand in earth-touching gesture (Skt. bhumisparsa-mudra). The pierced background/extended crown with 'wings' behind his head, which is decorated with a crown indicates to Shan-style sculptury. The object shows traces of earlier gilding.
