Gilded bronze statue of Buddha subdoing the demon Mara (Skt. Maravijaya), with head protuberance (Skt.: ushnisha) and a graceful flame-shaped gemstone on top. The Buddha, seated in a lotus position, holds his right hand in a gesture of touching the earth (Skt.: bhúmiszparshá mudra), with the sling of his monastic robe clearly visible on his chest.
