Statue of Buddha seated on a tall, ornate throne, with his hand in the earth-touching gesture (Skt.: bhumisparsha-mudra). He is depicted in full regalia, with a high headdress, and richly ornamented with jewellery. The statue bears the characteristics of the Bangkok (Rattanakosin) style.
