Glazed hard terracotta decorative plate with burnt paint. Wide all-round border decoration. In the central circle, two divine couples face each other: on the left Indra and Indrani mounted on an elephant, on the right Shiva and Parvati mounted on a bull. On the outes ornamental belt, four smalller circles are placed opposite to each other, showing sitting couples.
Inscription on the back: Shri, and other illegible marks, probably abbreviations. The plate might come from the state of Gujarat.
