A standard vessel used in traditional Mongolian dining is the “cup bowl”. Resulting from their nomadic lifestyle, Mongolians often store these aygas in a portable silk bag (halha: ayaganii uut). The bag is made of embroidered silk brocade, and it has silver attachments used for closing and affixing the bag. It forms a unit inventory numbers HFM_65.70.1 and 65.73.1
