Buddha statue repainted with yellow paint, standing on a wooden pedestal as a later addition in a style quite different from the original. With its tall headdress, wide band at the hairline and earlobes hanging down to the shoulders, it features the iconographic characteristics of the Mandalay style. His right hand is held in th gesture of dispelling fear (Skt. abhaya-mudra), while he is holding a round alms bowl in his left. His monastic robe is decorated with multi-coloured glass inlay.
