Blue and white porcelain cup with additional silver rim. Cobalt-coloured, with neifu (literally: "inner halls") mark, indicating that the object in question was made for the internal use of the Vietnamese imperial court by the Jingdezhen manufacture. The sides are decorated with the motif of a flying scroll painting and opposite an exquisite figure of a phoenix bird (Depository No. of its identical pair: 2015.33.1).
