Dragon decorated mien (yao) textile with coloured embroidery on a red felt ground. The central field shows a dragon soaring over the seas of the world with makaras (sea dragons) rising from the waves. The scene is framed with a dragon's head above it, and turtle shell, lotus and stylised long life character motifs on either sides. The suspension has been supplemented here with ears.
